Basic Dangerous Goods Regulations
BDG
This course is designed for Shipper and freight forwarder staff who either have no prior DGR training or who have not updated their training during the past 24 months. Dangerous Goods Regulations
Refresher course
RDG
This course is designed for Shippers and Forwarders who wish to renew their qualification for handling dangerous goods for air export and signing the Shipper's Declaration for Dangerous Goods. It is mandatory to undergo recurrent DGR training every 24 months on the latest regulations and trends related to the carriage of dangerous goods. This refresher course provides awareness of the current legal requirements, operational restrictions, packaging instructions, marking, labeling and documentation regulation for dangerous goods, all in accordance with the current edition of IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations manual. Regulated Air Cargo Screening Facility (RACSF)
RACSF
Each RACSF shall nominate two persons as Nominated Persons (NP) for Cargo Security accountable for overseeing the effective implementation of cargo security operations and their compliance with the requirements of the RACSF Security Programme (i.e. Part II of the Application for Registration as RACSF for Off-airport Air Cargo Screening). An RACSF applicant shall ensure that the two NPs have successfully completed an RACSF Security Training Programme run by training institutes acceptable to CAD before operation of the proposed RACSF. Upon successful completion of the Training Programme, training certificates will be issued to individual candidates. All training certificates carry a validity of 3 years.
