  • Dangerous Goods Carried by Passengers or Crew

  • State and Operator variations

  • Dangerous Goods Forbidden / Exempted

  • Dangerous Goods in Limited quantities

  • Dangerous Goods Permitted by these Regulations

  • Packing Group Assignment

  • Classification of Dangerous Goods / Hazard classes and Divisions

  • Identification of Dangerous Goods

  • Packing of Dangerous Goods consignment

  • Types of packaging / Packing instructions

Day 3 (0900-1700)

 

  • Review of day 1 & 2

  • Different Dangerous Goods pack in the same outer packaging

  • Marks and labelling of Dangerous Goods consignment

  • Documentation requirements for Dangerous Goods

  • Shipper’s declaration / Air waybill

 


Day 4 (0900-1700)

 

  • Review of Day 3

  • Excepted Quantities of Dangerous Goods

  • Assessment – questions & group discussion

  • Handling in warehouse & loading awareness of Dangerous Goods

  • Emergency procedures of Dangerous Goods

  • Provision of Information

  • Reporting – Undeclared or Mis-Declared Dangerous Goods

  • Introduction to Radioactive Materials

Day 5 (0900-1700)

 

  • Review of Day 4

  • Introduction to Radioactive Materials (con’t)

  • Examination (3 hours, passing mark 80%)
